Ice Skating Lessons

Information and Cost

Beginner Ice Skating Lessons are intended for beginner and novice level skaters to learn basic skating moves and techniques.
During the spring semester we will offer two different course levels.

Wednesdays beginning in February- beginning course designed for those who are very new to ice skating.  This course teaches basic skating moves and techniques to help you become more confident on ice skates!
Tuesday/Thursday course (intermediate)- this course will begin later in February and be taught on a two day per week schedule over the course of a few weeks.  This course is for skaters looking to learn more than the basic techniques and would be a good course level for those that took our introductory skate lessons in the fall semester.
All of our classes are held in Clark Ice before our open skate times!  Work on the skills you learned during open skate after your lesson each week.  Lessons are one hour at a time.  Students are allowed to bring in skates or check them out from our collection of rental skates.
Cost
  • $50 per person
  • Covers 5 lessons
  • Classes will be from 7:00pm-8:00pm on the day that you choose leading into our open skate time if you wish to stay to work on what you learned!
  • Classes will take place in the Clark Ice Arena in the Clark Athletic Center.
If you cannot make your lessons after signing up, members will be subject to our refund policy.
Lessons will begin on Wednesday February 5 for the new student course.  The Tuesday/Thursday more advanced track will start later in February when the ice becomes more available to us.
