Jui-jitsu Boo will be hosting a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) weekly session aimed at teaching participants the fundamental techniques of BJJ. The session will cover the main concepts of BJJ, including escapes, sweeps, and submissions, with a focus on proper technique, and therefore safety. Participants will have the opportunity to practice these techniques under the supervision of experienced BJJ practitioners. The event will conclude with a rolling session, where attendees can engage in live sparring to apply the techniques they have learned. This workshop is open to all skill levels and will be conducted with the safety of participants being a priority.

WGSS Celebrating 50 years plus As the Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGS) at the University of Massachusetts Boston celebrates its 50+ anniversary, the WGS field is currently experiencing intense politicized scrutiny at the national and global levels.
